Leatherback Brewing Company proudly produces authentic Virgin Islands craft beer with uniquely Caribbean-grown ingredients and influences alongside traditional beer styles. We aim to build the community and culture around well-crafted beer and to celebrate and steward our Caribbean life!

About Our Company

Our namesake, the leatherback turtle, perfectly embodies the spirit of the company. Leatherback turtles are born on just a few of the beaches in St. Croix. These majestic creatures are world travelers, yet those born on the island return when the time comes to give life to the next generation.

At our company, we recognize that The Virgin Islands is a special place and we support the outdoor lifestyle of the island. Supporting local initiatives that protect the environment, promote the welfare of our neighbors, and nurture the potential of the land has been a part of our plan since day one.

Visit Our Brewery

We have breweries and tasting rooms on St. Croix in the William Roebuck Industrial Park and on St. Thomas in Havensight Plaza.

Our beer is canned and kegged on site in St. Croix, and visitors can visit both locations to see our brewing process and try a flight of our beers.
